Society & Contributions
At ArkDev, we believe that meaningful growth doesn’t happen in isolation. We grow through exchanging experiences, we learn through teaching, and we expand through volunteering. Our mission has never been just about software — it’s about empowering people, supporting communities, and helping shape the next generation of innovators and leaders.
Over the years, ArkDev has become known not just for its technical expertise, but for its positive contributions to the broader ecosystem. We actively share our knowledge in international business development, offering mentorship and strategic support to fellow companies across Egypt and the region. We also love working with entrepreneurs and startups, not just as mentors, but as peers. For us, it’s a two-way exchange — startups bring fresh energy, creativity, and ambition; we bring years of experience in leadership, business management, and team building. Together, we grow stronger.
ArkDev has long supported Egypt’s national digital vision, partnering with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) on projects that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and talent development. Our contributions include:
In 2011
we helped shape strategies to boost Egypt’s IT exports through community-driven initiatives — balancing short-term wins with long-term structural impact.
In 2013
we co-developed Egypt’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Strategy for the ICT sector — a national framework that guided the ecosystem until 2020.
In 2018
we collaborated with Eitesal NGO and MCIT to create Egypt’s General Software Strategy, aligning local capabilities with global trends.
In 2019
ArkDev was selected by the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University to design and deliver a professional incubation and training program for undergraduate students. This initiative became one of the first of its kind in Egypt, bridging the gap between academia and industry through a structured summer training experience — complete with technical sessions, real-world projects, and measurable KPIs.
And Since Our Inception to This Day
ArkDev has continuously played a volunteering role in youth capacity development — offering summer training programs, mentorship sessions led by company leaders, and ongoing knowledge sharing through social media, self-development videos, and experience-exchange initiatives. We believe that empowering youth is not a one-time act, but a lifelong commitment to passing forward the knowledge and values we’ve gained along the way.
